Four Star Instructional Camp June 28 - July 2
Challenge Camp July 5 - 9
at UMASS AMHERST, MA.

The boys program at Four Star Lacrosse Camp is committed to teaching fundamentals and current techniques in a highly competitive atmosphere. Varsity teams competing in the Challenge Camp or Upstate Shootout Camp will be placed in leagues based on the HS coaches recommendation and the results of the first round games. Each league will play to a championship “final four” round at the end of camp. The tournament will be double elimination, teams that lose twice will still have a chance to compete for a championship in the consolation bracket. The Instructional Camp will run as in the past. Twelve sessions of instruction and games, the camp will move from teaching individual skills and team concepts in the early sessions to a highly competitive “tournament” type game situation in later sessions.

As high school coaches, we realize the importance of recruiting and we strive to attract college coaches from all divisions to attend camp. (Last year over 100 college coaches worked or attended camp).

The Four Star Camp philosophy is very simple–we want our campers to improve their skills, learn more about the game of lacrosse and have fun. (To play in the varsity Challenge Camp or Upstate Shootout Camp you must be on a roster submitted by your HS coach.) The Instructional Camp is open to rising 6th through rising 9th graders. Players attending the Instructional Camp will be encouraged to play at the highest level possible, no camper will be placed in a division beyond his capabilities, regardless of age. Everyone has a place at Four Star Lacrosse Camp.
